Learning Experience:
Every Friday students will go online and pick out a new technology product to research, document, and informally present their findings to the class. Students are free to pick a product according to their own interests. If students are having trouble finding a product of interest they can go to the New York Times Technology , www.wired.com, http://www.nasa.gov/ , and, http://sciencefriday.com/ . (If that is not enough there are more.. ask me.) - other ideas to use is the new Google Operating System based on the Chrome Web Brower, or new types of batteries for cars.

Describe the different points of view of each article. Explain why each of the articles was written, for example was the purpose of the article to compare and contrast similar types of products, or was the article a marketing campaign. You can usually tell by who wrote the article.

If your technology product does not address the preceding questions, pick another product.Students will print out their documents and informally present around the table. Afterwards documents will be posted on the board.
